Lifelong Links- DNA Ancestry Tests

Hello all, I am working with a YP who has asked during the discovery stage if we can support him to take a DNA Ancestry test to understand more about his ethnic heritage and background. Has anyone had any experience in supporting a YP to achieve this? Recognising there is a lot to consider such as their age, potential results and what they may show- links that could be made on ancestry and who has access to this information. Alongside, thinking about who could support them to understand what they mean. All knowledge and advice welcomed - thank you
