He lives with me at the moment and there is a 12 year old in the house he’s just not aloud to be left alone with anyone under 16, he’s on the sex offenders for 10 years.
Social services are already involved just wanted to know what other people went through

He was put on it as he was talking to a 12 and 13 year old. Beofre me and him got together, he regrets all his past and knows what he did was wrong but I love him to much to lose him and I’m scared that that is going to be the case and I don’t want to split up with him

Hi I am not sure where to post it who can give me the correct advice. My partner of a year committed a sexual offence with a 16 years 2 years prior to us meeting. He was a secondary school teacher. Therefore, was given a 14 month prison sentence. We have been together for a year and he told me the situation at the beginning but it was called nothing more than an affair, but he was 33 at the time. I don’t know what to do with my future as I am 35 and wish to have a family of my own and as much as I love him I do worry that it is going to affect my future, being that it’s already turnt my life upside down. Regarding my work and my relationship with my family which I feel awful about. I would greatly appreciate any advise that anyone can give me as to weither having children with this man is going to cause more problems ect, shall I just walk away! So so confused.

Hi thank you for responding. So basically when he is released next year, I won’t be able to have a future with him with children? I thought perhaps the social services would do an initial check and then see that he has two younger children himself and be ok. I know it sounds daft but If I can’t have a child with this man and live together then I can by see any other option! He’s on the register for 10 years too so what choice do I have? He keeps saying that it will be ok and we can have a family and live happily ect. Am I just totally poking myself here? X
