Family Rights Group availability over Christmas and New Year 2025-26

Hello everyone,
I’d like to let you know Family Rights Group's availability over the Christmas period.
The telephone advice line will close at 2pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2025. The office will close at 3pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2025. Both will reopen at 9.30am on Friday, 2 January 2026.
Our online advice enquiry form will close at 3pm on Monday 22 December, and will re-open on Monday 29 December 2025.
Our final webchat session of the year will be on Monday 22 December, 2 - 4pm. The webchat service will re-open on Monday 5 January, 2 – 4pm.
The advice forums will be moderated on Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 December 2025. No posts will be answered during this period.
Although we will try our best to answer all questions before we close for the holiday period, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to respond to questions posted on Wednesday 24 December. Any outstanding posts from that day will be answered as soon as we are able after we return on Friday 2 January 2026.
Please look at the get help and advice section of our website if you need information or advice because a child in your family is involved with, or requires, local authority services due to welfare needs or concerns.
