Pams assessment

Hi there my daughter is naw 10 weeks old we are having to do a oams assessment sum of the session are whit me on my own then sum of the session are me and my ex together eany way most of the session are nothink to do whit peranting and sum are observations at contact I thought the assessment was to do whit peranting I mean sum of the session are about safe relationships and stuff like what we think our strengths and weakness are as a peranthaw do we no that when we don't have our daughter it's stupid dose eany one have a good outcome on theses assessment

We had a pams assessment, my partner at the time failed it, it was his second one and he failed them both. I passed it but was told me and him couldn’t bring our baby up as a couple…a lot has gone on for us but we are now not together and both my babies are on a court order. The social worker that did my pams assessment told us that most people fail them as couples.

Why did you have to do the assessment twice

I didn’t my ex did, he did it twice because he lost his second baby to adoption so had to redo it to see if he was able to keep our 2 babies but he failed it so he doesn’t have them

Is it easy to do I start mine tomorrow

I found it easy but everyone’s different. My ex struggled with his that’s why he failed it. They’re very long and they ask you loads of different things, work from pictures etc
