Re: Wrongly accused... now what?

Hi Worriedmum21, Your ordeal struck a chord with me as my wife and I went through something similar two years ago. The way they (the hospitals and, especially, Social Services) treat people is utterly disgraceful and it's about time something was done about it. Coming in heavy-handed, breaking famil...

Re: Story of encouragement Wrongly Accused NAI

NAI = Non-Accidental Injury. When they say that, they are basically accusing you.

Re: HAS ANYONE HAD KIDS RETURNED AFTER PROCEEDINGS????????

You are lucky it only took 3months..we were constantly told how 'stacked out' the courts were and we were lucky to get our date 6months away. Is there anyway to complain? ..like you all services incompetent..the Local Authority couldn't even get names right and spelling errors throughout their docu...

Re: HAS ANYONE HAD KIDS RETURNED AFTER PROCEEDINGS????????

In answer to your question: yes . Extremely long story cut short; wife and I were accused of NAI. We had a private expert look at our son's x-rays who could not see any fractures whatsoever. We had to attend family court on five separate occasions in total. At the first hearing I asked my solicitor ...

Re: Social services lying

Dear HHDad, Thank you for your response. I am, again, very sorry to hear about your negative experience with children’s services. It is clear that you have acted proactively to address what you felt were shortcomings and have addressed these through the appropriate channels. Just to reiterate, that...

Re: Social services lying

PerfectlySafeDad , you are spot on with regards to the immense time, stress and money involved. We were made to attend family court a total of four occasions and had the same judge throughout. In our case - and again, I shall not name individuals (I wish I could though) - our children came back hom...

Re: Social services lying

I just wanted to briefly explain a few other matters. Early on in this nightmare for my wife and I, I contacted a former doctor in America who specialises in helping parents wrongly accused. I probably should not have sent him the reports etc, but I was desperate for help and advice. He highlighted ...

Re: Social services lying

Hi Suzie, The situation my wife and I found ourselves in came to a sudden end in March 2019 when the first of two expert witnesses confirmed that our son did not have "multiple fractures", as the hospital had suggested and, in fact, all he had was a tiny "toddler facture" in his left leg which - he ...

Re: Social services lying

I am afraid that nothing surprises me when it comes to Social Services. Almost two years ago they got involved with my family due to an incorrect diagnosis by a hospital. Despite the fact that neither my wife or I had even been in trouble before, had never been arrested, had always been in employmen...

Re: Care Proceedings & Fact Finding Hearing - Please Help

Sorry to 'bump' this thread but I wondered how things turned out for @Starting_again and whether @QuestionMark or anyone else had any other updates? I would be keen to know if anyone has gone through anything similar, especially if in the same area (xxxx and xxxxx). My wife and I - through speaking ...
