Re: Care Proceedings
Dear Dody Thank you for your further post. It appears from the post that you are concerned about your son’s behaviour in the placement. You say that he is exhibiting sexualised behaviour. From reading your post it seems that this something that was spoken about to the social worker and the children...

Re: Care Proceedings
Dear Dody, Thankyou for your further post. You say that the contact sessions with your children have been reduced to only one session per month. You would like to know if this can be increased. The first step towards increasing contact sessions is to ensure that you attend the current contact sessi...

Re: Care Proceedings
Hi Dody Good to hear you have completed the parenting classes, I found my sessions very useful. My advice is to keep going and stay positive (it is very hard but do not let them break you) and also be assertive with Children's services. Is there a reason the contact sessions were reduced? Do your c...

Re: Care Proceedings
Hi Dody Depends on your current situation. Parenting courses are a good idea. Have you asked Childrens services to refer you and pay for the costs, as most of these types of classes are run by private providers? If they refuse to refer and pay, you can address this with your legal advisor. I would ...

Re: Care Proceedings
Hi katkat10 I initially got a referral for parenting courses, and I completed it successfully. I also had a referral from a psychiatrist to conduct sessions, but it was not available for free. Is there any other course I should take besides parenting courses? To support myself to get my kids back?
