It definitely has paid off..20 months if hard work to get to where we are now, another 12 months on a supervision order then we will be free..thank you so much xx

I found it easy but everyone’s different. My ex struggled with his that’s why he failed it. They’re very long and they ask you loads of different things, work from pictures etc

I didn’t my ex did, he did it twice because he lost his second baby to adoption so had to redo it to see if he was able to keep our 2 babies but he failed it so he doesn’t have them

We had a pams assessment, my partner at the time failed it, it was his second one and he failed them both. My solicitor told me after the social etc had seen it, I got sent a copy after everyone else had received it.

It took mine 5/6 weeks but can be sooner if court is during that time

They will use the report from the cognitive assessment to help decide what recommendations to make in court etc

It’s to see basically how your cognitive function is, you’ll get asked loads of different questions, English, maths etc, they test your memory, they give you little tasks to do etc it doesn’t involve your baby. My baby wasn’t allowed to come to mine he had to stay with my social worker for 3 hours

I had mine with my baby as we were in a foster placement but if your baby isn’t with you then no you’ll have it on your own
