Child Arrangement Live With Order
I am just about to go through court proceedings again. Previously a full care order has been in place. There was initially suggesting reducing to a supervission order but now the plan for a 6 month CIN been agreed by all parties. After this period the guardian is recomending that a Child Arrangement...

Re: My partner is low risk but still on sex offender register
The LA can advise you to split up but not actually force you. If you are asked to split up my advice is to do as they say but to firmly say that any plan needs to be working you back together as a family. The LA will be concerned that you are dependent on a sex offended for living accomadation. They...

Re: URGENT SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
I have to say i can relate to alot of what you say. The LA lie or manipulate to get what they want. My advice on this is get everything in writting. Take your own minutes of conversations and meetings. Have someone there as a witness(support). I had a couple of times a solicitior attend meetings tho...

If there is an active PLO they you are entitled to free legal aid and a solicitor should be the best person to advise.

Re: IIOC found on ex partners device
i have to say about the "independent chair" i have had several IRO's, each one seems to just agree with the SW no matter what. Despite clear evidence evidence that the LA plans are not consistent with the care plan. The IRO makes excuses for the LA rather than scrutnising. I should not eve...

Re: Please help
Hi there sorry to hear you having so much trouble with the LA. My advice is that though you believe and it may well be the case your partner is innocent. From a safe guarding point of view you must be seen that you are on your childs side. (even if they are lying) you need to always be on the side o...

Re: should the LA be doing more
Hi Suzie, thankyou for your responce. i must correct you on your misunderstanding. At court it was only agreed the La would put my case forward to the comissioning panel. There was not agreement of an amount or contribution. I didnt take it back to court just at some point the LA changed there stanc...
