Re: Please i need advice for second pregnancy
Really sad to hear about this... you'd hope medical professionals would be accurate with their data (though to be fair this sounds like an innocent misunderstanding) GDPR is your friend here - first you can ask the doctors to correct the dates in your record where a mistake / innacuracy has been mad...

Re: Can social service's put Cameras in your bedtoom at mother and baby foster placement?
Hi - really sorry to hear about your friends predicament. I'm only answering as, like you say no one has responded. I'm not a legal expert so afraid I can't say anything for definate but I'll try and give some useful tips. If she is in a mother and baby unit, it is sadly common practice for cameras ...

Re: RSO Children’s services POSITIVE stories?!
We got a good social worker after a lot of complaining (but complained straight to the manager of social services - not just the childrens social services manager). Our story isn't a positive one, but try to remember all those who has a positive experience will not use this site, or post their exper...

Re: We should all get together . Too many lies and wrong removals
Hi runnermum, I'm sure in some cases there will be a need for secrecy, which is why I suggest an independent Judge should have that option, but even celebrities can get gagging orders - I see no reason for a blanket ban on reporting. In my case secrecy was 0% to do with child protection (only myself...

Re: We should all get together . Too many lies and wrong removals
At this stage we need to refine a simple, powerful change the government could make that would make a difference. I've previously suggested making family court cases published by default unless an independent Judge orders otherwise - identifiable details should be anonymised. It's important for ever...

Re: unexplained injury in immobile infant
Really sorry about the situation you're in - I can't even imagine the hurt you must be feeling. In respect to getting information you can put a freedom of information request in through whatdotheyknow(.com). It may be useful to also ask how many referrals are based on cases with conflicting diagnosi...

Re: Please help :(
Hi Stressedmun05 I can only talk about my own experiences but having been through a pre birth assessment I can say they are likely to look at everything - the things in the referral will probably barely come up. I would be surprised if they don't ask about things like cleaning routine etc. It should...

Re: Even with evidence against s workers I've been told I'll loose all over again
Deepest sympathies... the problem is that is does sound crazy, doesn't it? Having been through the madness myself I believe every word - years ago I would have been skeptical. If you have proof outside the court papers definitely raise it with the HCPC (social work england) - let the evidence talk f...

Re: We should all get together . Too many lies and wrong removals
Maybe start a crowdfunder to raise awareness (advertising funds) and start an online government petition? There wouldn't be the numbers without getting awareness. I think the two issues are 1: secrecy rules - sure there are some cases that need this, but it should be the the rare exception: "J,...
