Does anyone know under what category of applying to court that we could apply to court due to the fact that the Local Authority are not abiding by the Special guardianship plan put in place for two children in terms of Financial and Therapeutic . I have already been through the complaints procedure ...

Is there a contact order in place.? If there is no contact order in place then you can do what seems in the best interests or wishes for the child. If there is a contact order you should apply for a change in the order due to circumstances. I'm quite shocked with the La decision that they won't supe...

Hi all,
Update is that SGO is granted ...Also dad been given an indirect recommendation of twice a year and birth mum 5 times direct contact.

I've been in the same place as you, I made a formal complaint and got my mp involved and later on had a solicitor that hot the issue sorted I also got all my costs for solicitor fees back thanks to the mp that was involved.. You have email confirmation you could send this with your formal complaint....

The Guardian's view has now been received and the guardian is contesting the La plans for direct contact twice a year she wants a contact order for indirect contact twice a year and has asked the La to change there final care plan..

Thank you for the replies, Lets clear this up a bit... The children have same mother but different fathers...The father has only been offered twice a year because of findings against him in court and he deemed a serious risk to children(this only being for baby).....Mother is getting 5 times with 9 ...
