In Camden we have a Family Advisory Board that meets once every 2 months. Recently they have contributed to our national accreditation portfolio, our annual report and set objectives for the current financial year.
The FAB group is typically 12 family members from a pool of 30 we approached that have had an FGC in Camden. We purposely aim to have representation from extended family, friends and kinship carers as well as parents.

Great example presented yesterday at the 'Driving up standards' event in London of family members who have been through an FGC setting up a service to support other families going through an FGC. Well done Tim at Camden for driving this forward and for your contribution to the event.
