Gathering feedback from FGCs

Hello everyone, :-)

Just reaching out to see whether anyone had any useful suggestions or ideas as to how to gather feedback from those who attend an FGC.

Years ago we tried paper feedback forms, sent out with FGC plans with pre-paid envelopes, however, this wasn't hugely successful at the time.

For the past few years we have been using a text feedback system, where a simple text is sent to all attendees (including referrers, family members, young people etc) with 10 simple questions to answer about their FGC. The responses are anonymous and voluntary. The FGC coordinator explains to the families at the end of the FGC about these texts being sent so they are aware of them. We had a really good response to this system at the beginning, but the responses have now dwindled off unfortunately.

I was just wondering whether anyone had any methods which work particularly well for their service? It would be great to hear about your successes.

Many thanks,
Kelly
(Cornwall FGC Lead)

In East Riding, we use QR codes, which work well, if you would like more information, please drop us an email llnfgc@eastriding.gov.uk  :)
