From Professor Jonathan Scourfield

Cardiff University are inviting you to take part in a study that could help to shape policy and practice about how children’s social care services work with families.

The study is about the quality and effectiveness of family group conferences (FGCs). As part of the study, we are inviting FGC managers, or children’s social services managers in local authorities where FGCs are not currently provided, to take part in this UK-wide survey. The survey will help us to identify where FGCs are taking place and understand local variations in provision. We are also interested in where FGCs are not taking place, and the circumstances around this. Your contribution will be invaluable to helping us to understand the extent and nature of family group conferences in the UK. For more information about the study please follow this link: https://cascadewales.org/research/famil ... ily-voice/

We anticipate the survey will take 15 minutes of your time.

Taking part is voluntary. If you would like to take part, please use this link to access the survey until the 17th of June: https://socsi.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dp4D4ud3NcN4uTs

If you have any questions or concerns relating to this research project, please contact Jonathan Scourfield at family-voice@cardiff.ac.uk.

Thank you in advance for your time.

With very best wishes,

Professor Jonathan Scourfield, Cardiff University
