Guidance for professionals wishing to stay in touch with young people

Post by Devon FGC service » Fri Jun 20, 2025 3:31 pm

We have had several requests for Lifelong Links from workers who wish to stay in touch with a young person when they finish working with them and we are now looking to create a document with guidance to give to professionals who are wishing to stay in touch but don't need a Lifelong Links referral.
Does anyone already have one or something similar that you would be willing to share please?

Hi, there is some guidance out there like Warwickshire's website: https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/lifelon ... long-link/

A couple of other local authorities are developing policy which (I believe) is at an advance stage and hopefully they'll be able to share this with the network once published.
