Impact of child abuse on later life

The Office for National Statistics has published a summary of their findings on the impact of child abuse on later life, based on an analysis of the Crime Survey for England and Wales, year ending March 2016.

This includes a finding that:

A higher proportion (51%) of survivors of child abuse went on to experience domestic abuse in adulthood compared to those who had not experienced abuse in childhood.
