Family Rights Group provides consultancy services including tailored training courses for practitioners and managers in the statutory and voluntary sector. All our work is based upon promoting practice that is evidence based and that respects and values families.
As an organisation we combine expertise on research and policy development in this arena, with indepth knowledge of the legal framework, and practice expertise as a service provider, in the field of advocacy and advice. Family Rights Group has pioneered Family Group Conferences and runs the national network and holds international conferences, keeping us in tune with latest developments at home and abroad, we are therefore well qualified to train others in their value and implementation.
Our courses are designed to be purchased by an individual agency or group of agencies. They can be varied or adapted to suit your needs. We provide the trainer(s), and training materials; you provide the venue and participants.
If you do not see the course you are looking for, please contact us to discuss your requirements as we are happy to design a course that will meet your needs.
Family Rights Group believes that the unique experience of families who use services can add to and enrich the training experience. On some courses we would strongly recommend a family member as the second trainer.
All our trainers have considerable expertise and dedication and are committed to anti-discriminatory practice. They will challenge any inappropriate or discriminatory behaviour or practices.
