Hello ,
I had a child protection meeting a few months ago , the new one is coming up . The police women was there and she was terrible. She laugh about the situation and i did not approve of it .
My ex partner is now in prison on remand so I don’t see why they need to attend .
Can i ask for them not to be there and for them to do as statement instead?

Re: Child protection
Dear MBG78
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Board.
It may be a good idea for you to contact the chair and speak with them about your experience at the first conference.
For your information here is some information about the child protection process and here is information about review conferences. The Government advises about how the child protection process ‘should’ be managed in their guidance called Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 see pages 49 onwards.
I hope this information is helpful.
Best wishes
Suzie
