Ss interference

First of all long post
Ss are involved as my daughter is a victim of being touched over clothing 8 years ago
She was granted permission to see him but now told no contact
She has a baby now by someone else and shes been told hes not allowed 2 c the baby even though the police have said hes allowed contact
Advice needed please

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Board.

You have given some background information but perhaps not enough for me to give you a comprehensive response. However based on what you have said, your daughter when she was child or young person was assaulted by an individual after which (I assume) Children’s Services became involved and your daughter was subject to a child protection plan?

Now your daughter has a child of her own, and was told that she cannot have contact with the person who harmed her as a child/young person, is this what you mean? If so what (if any) relationship is this individual to your grandchild and why have social workers told your daughter that she cannot have contact with him – is this because he is deemed a risk to children?

You also say that your daughter’s child’s father is not allowed to see the baby. What risk does he pose to the child, has this risk been outlined to your daughter, why are the police involved?
