Hi Jurich

Welcome to the board.

You raise specific issues around the role of Cafcass. With the information you provide, I will attempt to answer your questions as best of possible.

1. Traditionally, the court has where possible attempted to appoint the same Cafcass officer in order to provide a consistent approach in care proceedings. Depending on the outcome, first time round, this could be seen as positive or negative decision for an involved parent.

2. Depending how long ago this was, if you have specific issues that the Cafcass officer was untruthful when giving evidence, was this something you raised with your solicitor, (if you had one), at the time? Alternatively, you could seek further information from
http://www.cafcass.gov.uk/contact_us/fe ... aints.aspx.

I hope this helps.

Best Wishes

Suzie
