Re: They are pushing me too far

Dear heartbroken80, I am sorry for the delay in responding to your post. I understood that your son was going to be returning home to you in a matter of weeks. This had been approved by the court. Has this plan been delayed and if so, do you know the reason? You say children services are pushing you...

Dear Stargirl79, Welcome to the Parents Board. I can see that Foreigner has given you sound advice and that you are already engaging with resources at the Lucy Faithfull Foundation. Let the social worker know this. It is not clear to me what the police are investigating at the moment. Are they conce...

Re: will i get them back

Dear terrifiedmummy, Welcome to the Parents Board. I am so sorry to hear about the abuse your children suffered and that they are now in foster care. I assume that care proceedings have started. Is that the case? During the care proceedings, the court will be deciding what harm each of your children...

Re: Advise need about Social service and my children

Dear Maiamoon, Welcome to the Parents Board. I can see that you must be very shocked and no doubt upset and scared by the police investigating your husband for down loading indecent images and children services being involved with your children. Your husband has been asked to leave the family home w...

Re: What can I do before it goes to court

Dear ladyp Thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear that children’s services are planning to go to court in relation to your grandchildren. If your daughter is the only person with parental responsibility for her children then she can make all major decisions for them including where/with whom th...

Re: Worried if I'm making the right decision

Dear saraheve29 Thanks for the clarifying information. Do ask your son’s social worker to keep you as informed as possible about your son’s proposed move especially as you are worried about how it will impact on him. If you have any ideas about how to minimise the disruption for your son do let the ...
