Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

Dear Heartbrokenfather,I understand how annoying it is when one cooperates to the best of ones ability, go for assessments and so on, only to be told you don't understand concerns and refuse to work with professionals. Now they have threatened legal action to remove the children to your face, why don...

Re: AUTISTIC SPECTRUM AND OTHER DISABILITIES

To all on the FRG forum, It is evident to me that quite a lot of the cases coming up on the forum involve special needs children ,particularly ASD,ADHD and so forth. To me it seems these children are being targeted. So I am surprised that no-one has contributed their experiences to this thread.I want...

Re: my unborn granchild coming under CP

Dear dv survivor,I am just another parent advising you as best as I can. Suzie is a professional adviser. There is nothing for your daughter to fear from a care order giving shared parental responsibility to the CS as long as the attached care-plan specifies that the baby will remain at home with he...

Re: my unborn granchild coming under CP

Dear dvsurvivor, When your daughter became involved with tthe CS,under thr frameworks of the Children's Act,she ought to have been given information as to advocacy services and her right to have one support her at meetings with the sw's. I suggest you telephone the helpline to seek FRG advice.I doub...

Re: My 4 years with children services

Dear Blueplane, When one is bringing ones children up under the auspices of a full care-order or perhaps some sort of supervision order, you can take my word for it that, after the first year or so,there is little or no interference in your life or the way you bring up your children. Then after eigh...

Re: my unborn granchild coming under CP

Dear dvsurvivor, I am sorry to hear this latest news.Especially that your daughter signed the S20 under threats. Cooperation and a willingness to accede to reasonable assessments does not appear to have made a lot of headway as far as this sw is concerned.Make a note for court that he has refused to...

Re: need help

Dear kitty, Did you contact WOMEN'S AID? Do you have an independent advocate to help you? If you have, tell her about it.The point is that the child has human rights one of which is regular contact with his natural parent.Women at home alone with mental frailties like yourself are vulnerable and unab...

Re: My LAC teen son STILL not allowed day visits home!

CS stands for Children's Services ( social workers). .it sounds fishy if the psychologist won't keep you informed about your own son and his condition. The FRG has a helpline which you can ring if you wish.
I advise you to write down and date everything which is said and done.

Re: CSW issues and discrimination toward Mental Health - made to feel totally useless

Dear ijustwantausername,

As a user-name, I suggest 'victimofoutrageousinhumanity'.

The FRG is the right place for help and Suzie, the professional adviser will come online soon with all the best advice.

Right now I strongly advise you to contact WOMEN'S AID who can help you more practically.
