Returning to court

The children are under a full care order with their father and I'm only seeing the children every two weeks for an hour each, this is supervised. I have had to engage a solicitor again as my contact is minimal and supervised. I get positives from the social worker that the contact can move forward o...

Re: Literally at my wits end!!

This is very similar to my story with the children's father, he lied and manipulated all the way through the care proceedings to discredit me and worked with the social worker to do this. By the time we got to court, I had been entirely discredit and the recommendations were for the children to go t...

Re: Social Services: Compulsive Liars.

Hi You circumstances are very similar to mine except mine are with their father under a full care order. The social worker wanted the children in long term foster care or adoption, he had decided that before he had even met me. He lied, falsified documents and false accusations about me. I have been...

Re: I tried to get help for my daughters and Guardian lied in court to remove them

Hi I can totally identify with you, I have had the social worker and the children's father lie about me which weren't true. I had looked after both my daughters for the 1st 9 and 5 years of their lives. The decisions were made that the children should be with their father who had been domestically a...

Re: Failing Placements

Thanks We have the 2 weeks return to court part explained as its in the children's care plans, I have been advised by the solicitor to look for a rental house asap to provide the children with a stable house and once moved in, I should invite the social worker round to assessed the house in preparat...

Failing Placements

For the last week, my girls placement with their father is becoming unstable. The girls are under a full care order, the children's father has split up with girlfriend and she asked him to move out with the girls. I'm not sure where the girls are, I have heard that the girls and their father are in ...

Re: Advice on handling social services

Hi

If the care order is discharged, what are options for the local authority remaining involved? They are talking as if they are handing the reigns back of over to myself and the girl's father and that they won't be involved anymore.

Advice on handling social services

I'm getting increasingly confused with my social worker, she is lying, sending mixed messages, telling me one thing and telling family members something else. She is also interfering in my Cbt therapy by asking her address things like the volume/nature of emails, she told the therapist that my famil...

Re: Contact

The Iro didn't meet with the girls, nobody official met with the girls to discuss their views, not that it matters because that wasn't taken into account their wishes and feelings. The Guardian did consider a settling in period which she gave as the 1st 3 weeks with their father and that my weekly c...
