Re: Will care proceedings affect job?

I am a registered nurse. Currently in care proceedings. It's a long story. My manager has always known about my issues with my son. I am still currently at work and my management are so supportive. Be honest and open about the situation.

My children have been taken and I don't know how to cope

My children were taken just over 7 weeks ago. I have spent 5 years trying to get help for my nearly 7 year old who I am sure has ADHD. It's like no one wants to help. From court on Thursday my youngest got returned to his dad and I got ordered a non-molestation order. Myself and the kids dad's don't...

Re: HAS ANYONE HAD KIDS RETURNED AFTER PROCEEDINGS????????

I have been recording my interactions with social services. I have a chronology of my struggles with my son and reports from previous childminders. It's not enough. Social services call me a mentally unstable drug taker. But are not sending me for a drug test, despite my protest. It is currouption a...

HAS ANYONE HAD KIDS RETURNED AFTER PROCEEDINGS????????

Please. I am getting so desperate for some hope. Has anyone actually had their kids returned after care proceedings? We are in week 6. I feel lost. In limbo. Me and my partner both work. We have a nice house. We don't struggle financially. I have struggled for 5 years, openly and tried to get help w...

Re: Social services took both my kids when we asked for a volentary placement for my eldest

Thank you for your response. No they took us straight to court without a PLO. My partner asked for a volentary placement for my eldest again. The social worker said she would speak to her manager. Next thing she tells us we will be in court this week and they will be making an intrim care order for ...

Re: Social services took both my kids when we asked for a volentary placement for my eldest. PLEASE READ AND ADVISE

Can i add that during this assessment I have been told I am intimidating. I admit I am outspoken but I don't think that should be used against me. I am a registered mental health nurse myself. I refuse to take antidepressants unless I feel to to low. And even then, just to get me over that feeling f...

Social services took both my kids when we asked for a volentary placement for my eldest

I have 2 boys. A 6.5 year old and a 15 month old. I have struggled openly with my 6.5 year old since he was 2 and his first childminder could not longer manage him. I am sure he has ADHD but we have never had an assessment. I openly admit I should have coped better at times. I have rang up health vi...
