Fought for my son and won.
Hi I have posted on here a few times in regards to my son being in the care of my L.A due to myself and partner being in a 'pool of perpitrators'. Just wanted to update that my son is coming home on the 1st of October full time. Our contact is currently at the family home now unsupervised. So i just...

Re: INDEPENDENT SOCIAL WORK ASSESSMENT
I know why we have the assessments. The local authority's assessments were flawed and we fought to get an independent assessment. I just wanted some advice from others who have had an ISW involved and whether it's helped their cases as I am hoping and praying these assessments will bring my son home...

INDEPENDENT SOCIAL WORK ASSESSMENT
Hi I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on ISW assessments. My son has been under an ICO for 17 weeks due to my previous children being removed and myself, my partner and my brother being left in the pool of perpitrators 7 years ago. I just need some advice as to whether one of these independ...

Re: Removal at birth need advice
If they try to refuse u breastfeeding say you will be putting a claim in against his human rights. I have done so much research into all of this that's all I do with my spare time. They even put into their reports that I am apparently too scripted because I am self taught as they refused any courses...

Re: Removal at birth need advice
We have been told exactly the same crappy excuses. That It's not our parenting that is the problem. It's all based on probabilities of risk. All they need is a 51% probability and they can take every child you ever have away. It breaks my heart that we have to go through this yet I know many terribl...

Re: Removal at birth need advice
So i am still waiting for my assessment to begin. It's been 6 weeks since we was granted an ISW in court I got the call today to say it will be starting next Tuesday. Even an ISW who is getting £50 per hour can't stick to the timeframe it's a joke. Now my social worker is saying she regrets putting ...

Negative risk assessment
Does anyone know if i have a negative risk assessment if I would be able to get my son back from foster Care? He is on an ICO atm we are due back in court the end of the month. The social worker hates me and I feel she had judged me on past before even giving me a chance. She's tried to turn all my ...

Removal at birth need advice
Bit of a long post but I don't know where to turn so please help and please no judgment! Basically in 2011 I had care of my 3 children. I was in a bad relationship, they were on a child protection plan due to concerns of neglect, myself not engaging with services. I was severely depressed but didn't...
