Re: Child Protection order

Hi Toaie I’m so sorry you’re going through this. You sound like an intelligent well educated, strong woman who knows what she is doing! I feel for you both. It’s hard to know what the best thing is to do regarding your relationship. I’d say if you can get over him and move on do so. If you cannot be...

Re: Help

Oh PSDIm so sorry too. You are saying what the SE should be saying! That your son can say his feelings and share them to hope that they may be acted on! That is not manipulation but encouragement to let his feeling be made known. Further revelations since Tuesday. Conference was mid week staying on ...

Hi all. Our journey has just got a lot tougher. It feels like war atm. This week is pretty intense with Core group review yesterday, PLO meeting today that was a disaster and I’ve barely stopped crying since. My second session with Lucy Faithfull tomorrow which I’m looking forward to, Child protecti...

Re: Guidelines for assessment of families and children when an adult has been viewing iioc

Great reply PSD! Have you been on the stopso forum? I think you will find it interesting I’ve certainly learnt a lot more through it. There’s one lady in particular who is v knowledgeable. Her husband was charged with possession of iioc and bailed home before being taken to prison for a year. He was...

Guidelines for assessment of families and children when an adult has been viewing iioc

I’m not sure if I am allowed to share a link on here but I came across these guidelines and they have been very informative. I have shared them with my SW and his Manager who gave no reply but my LA as far as I am aware has no equivalent which explains their difficulty in dealing with our situation....

Re: Social Services concerned even though SOPO and SOR expired.

Fantastic news Just a guy. I hope you are enjoying a social Services free life! Thanks for the update. It gives the rest of us hope. PSD enjoyed reading your comment, summed up well unfortunately! In our situation even husbands solicitor was shocked and ‘concerned’ that I’ve made a freedom of inform...

Information on how to take social services to court

Has anyone done this? I’m assuming we would need to pay. Are there solicitors that can help do this? Most of you know the story but 21m down the line no progress whatsoever with contact I have made a freedom of information request questioning a lot of things from the psychological report on content,...
