Increase in contact/asking for a reassessment

Hi, the background to my case is findings of NAI were made in 2017, I tried to reopen my case with new medical evidence this year but it wasn't deemed enough so I didn't get a rehearing. Contact was increased from two to five hours a month, supervised by family and friends. Everything has gone posit...

Re: Desperate Advice on Rehabilitation

Hi Suzie,

Thank you so much for your advice, I really appreciate it. I will write to her asking to increase it, put to her the reasons why it is in my baby's best interests, and apply to the Court to vary the order.

I'm so excited to get to the truth!

Re: Desperate Advice on Rehabilitation

Hi everyone. I just wanted to give a huge update on my case. My son was diagnosed with the genetic condition that I said all along! Ive now found out, and have evidence of, how my ex partner was manipulated by the local authority to turn on me and not challenge the medical evidence. I have enough ne...

Re: Desperate Advice on Rehabilitation

Hi Suzie, Thank you once again for an informative reply. The condition is EDS, and 90% of adults go most of their lives undiagnosed. I only came about the condition through extensive medical research, and the experts dismissed the symptoms. As they dismissed the symptoms, I decided to get a private ...

Re: Desperate Advice on Rehabilitation

Hi Suzie, Thank you for this information. The sad fact is, they never allowed my son to be seen by the relevant expert. The expert paediatrician was the last person to be cross examined, and he finally said that my child needed to be seen by this expert. By then, I had been crucified by four barrist...

Desperate Advice on Rehabilitation

I can't believe, even after proving my son had a genetic condition, I have had findings made against me for NAI. I'm inconsolable. The Dad will probably have custody, and I just wanted to know, what are my prospects of rehabilitation to care for my son? I've read that it can happen, even if findings...

Re: Someone please help!!

I've lost my baby through foster care recently too. Entirely different circumstances, so I can't say I can offer advice. However, I just wanted to say I know the pain you feel everyday your baby isn't there. Fight for your baby in any way possible. I lose my morale more and more each day, but every ...

Entitlement to benefits

Hi guys, As some of you may be aware, my baby is subject to an interim care order. He has been since February. Amidst all the heartache and trauma, I've just thought to myself, am I actually entitled to the Child benefit and working tax credits that I have been receiving? Obviously, I contest the ac...

Re: Foster Carer wants to take child away for 9 days

Thank you for your replies. My son is four months old, and he has been subject to an interim care order since the end of February. The Judge threatened to order the LA five times a week, they then acquired permission from the director to grant us five times a week. Negotiations have been taking plac...

Foster Carer wants to take child away for 9 days

My baby is in Foster care as we are in care proceedings due to a false allegation. The Foster Carer is planning to take my baby on holiday for one week within the UK but four hours away, meaning that we will have to go without seeing him for nine days. We currently have a contact order of 2 hours, 5...
