sex offender dad my story

I thought I would pull my whole story together here, trying to be as constructive as possible and provide a guide to other families in this position on what to expect and what's best to do to give you a chance of rebuilding. First up - and sorry to he grim - but be 100% sure that social services WIL...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

The communication and emotion thing is probably a big part of what caused the offending (if indeed he did). It leads to retreat into the internet, which is deadly and seductive for any guy with a sex drive or issues from the past. These are exactly the things a counsellor would work through with him...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

Seadog, you and your husband both have my utmost sympathy for what it's worth. It's worth nothing, because the sympathy you both need needs to come from social services, but there won't be any, because all they will care about is separating your husband from your children for as long as they can no ...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

@Seadog bravo! If you believe in your husband and your life as a family, you do have to stand by him and make no mistake you will have to fight. That is the nature of a tyranny and proves my point; you're acting humanely and hoping to achieve reconciliation at the same time as your husband undergoes...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

I'm sorry to say it, City, but I believe the guardian's talk of you demonstrating empathy, doing the Inform Plus course is just yet another excuse for them to foot-drag, to shut you out for as long as they possibly can. It never ends; if you did that with flying colours, they'd find something else t...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

City951 your last post is absolute dynamite, and ought to win some kind of journalist/human rights award. I'm sorry the content is so tragic for you, your family and others in our situation. After reading that, it beggars belief to me that anyone can fail to see we are in a tyranny. The reason it go...

Re: Social services ignoring sopo

#Lily14. Thanks for your information. It's good to know you can 'win an argument' with these people by stating the facts roundly and soundly as you did. but at the same time rather depressing that one has to fight like that for basic sanity and fairness to prevail. My SHPO states 'no unsupervised co...

Re: Tonight channel 4 at 9:00pm

It was very disappointing they didn’t cover a family with younger children, one of the families the children were older and maintained a relationship with their dad. Would of loved to see a story with younger children and the involvement of social services. Yes a pity, but not surprising. This area...

Re: Tonight channel 4 at 9:00pm

I wish I'd noticed this in time. It would be interesting to know how it went. It's probably about as close as it will get to showing that offenders are actually human, but I can imagine the reviews the next day if too much 'sympathy' is given. The usual mouthpieces from the children's charities, cam...

Re: Husband downloading child images

Children services do insist that the children are told the truth in an age appropriate way so that they can defend themselves I can tell you now, whatever those zealots try to do to my son (11 now), there is no way on this earth he is going to grow up thinking I was ever a 'risk' to him or that he ...
