Re: Advice

You have my absolute sympathies. I am a Dad who was convicted for similar stuff (7 years ago!), served a community sentence with no reoffence and now discharged from everything (2 years ago!)- except social service harassment that is! Your case is typical, and I'm going through a similar thing tryin...

Re: MCA & Child and Family Assessment

Further to this thread, my son has now turned 17. He lacks mental capacity under the MCA. I am told because of his age, he does not come under the Family Court jurisdiction and they will not deal with any application regarding him. Is this true? If so, where do I take my problem?

Re: MCA & Child and Family Assessment

I would like to update this post, and get Suzie's further advice please: The Child and Family Assessment was completed in early 2022, and it concluded "The Local Authority cannot conceive of a situation where it would ever be agreeable for [me] to have unsupervised contact [with my disabled chi...

Supervision decision

I am under a SHPO which stipulates no unsupervised contact with anybody under 16 'unless with consent of the parent'. My ex-wife (my son's mother) and I have been reconstructing a lot of trust and contact and exploring ways for me to see more of my son (9yo). Currently she supervises me with him, bu...

Re: I am a sex offender father please help me

Regarding City's update: Immense congratulations on getting your SHPO removed; in all my enquiries into the same, the message seems to be that there is not a cat in hell's chance if the police oppose the application, no judge would go against them. You obviously had a good lawyer or cut a strong imp...

Tiers

Happy new tier everyone. Just in case anybody is wondering or worried (I was), even being in tier 4 should not affect the contact you are having, whatever the circumstances - if it is an existing arrangement it can continue. So don't be told otherwise, or allow it to be twisted. Here is the proof, d...

Re: Social services lying

'This perhaps highlights the importance of serious cases being decided within the court arena, as it affords a necessary level of assessment, independence and scrutiny.' Yes, that's all well and good, but what about the immense time and stress and (probably) money involved in this? Parents do not re...

Re: Social services lying

they made the news as they were graded 'INADEQUATE'. Well, that does not narrow down which Local Authority, HH_Dad, the anonymity is safe. Many things about their way of working and policies and premises and attitude cannot be right . You have a human rights violation in the account you gave, but pr...

Re: What happens now.

Completely disgraceful you should be left hanging like this. Disgraceful that you should be treated to all effects as a potential 'culprit' in a some way by the the initial investigation by the SS, like you are possibly responsible for the rape of your daughter in some way by not caring for her; YES...
