Re: Foster Carer wants to take child away for 9 days
My girls went away on holiday with the foster carers, we saw the children before they went and when they came back, we didn't miss any contacts. We were in care proceedings as well, we still had full pr as the children were under a section 20 and we able to negotiate. Its a difficult one as you need...

Discussion with social worker
I received a phone call from my social worker early evening on Friday, she said she was returning my call, I had 2 queries, the 1st was to clarify whether the children had moved again and where and I received a letter with the contact arrangements for next 12 months, there was no mention of whether ...

Breach of care order
I need a bit of advice, my children were placed with their father under a full care order in August 2016. I was told by barrister and solicitor to go along with plan to place the children with their father as they felt if I went into court to fight this decision that I would lose and would be in ver...

Re: Mother's Day
Hi
From my experience, I would say but you might get reasonable social worker and it depends if the foster carers are prepared to supervised. I was allowed a phone call on Christmas day, they may allow this.

Help with the children
My girls are in a full care order with their father, I was told in July 2015 that he would fail. Things have been difficult for a while with the placement, the biggest one been his housing situation and the split from his ex partner, this was in October. He was placed on the emergency housing list a...

Re: lieing social worker with a personal vendetta against me
I had a social worker who went against me and it became very personal towards me, to point he had a problem with me been female and a strong one at that. He had since left the local authority(possibly sacked) and have a new social worker but his legacy still lives on. It was soul destroying living w...

Re: Made out to be a monster
This is pretty much what happened to me except the hospital backed me and the so did the police. The social workers overwrite the all the opinions from the day one to present day. All the physical stuff has fallen by the wayside over the last 15 months, I have been excused of emotional and psycholog...

Re: Returning to court
I have mostly not bad mouthed either the children's father or social services, this has been hard because I knew when the recommendations for the children to return to the dad was a mistake for exactly reasons that are unfolding now, for example that he is abusive, he has no experience of caring for...
