Re: Update on iioc , now found cat a !!!

I get what you're saying. My partners probation officer said there was next to no evidence to back that online offenders WILL go on to carry out contact offences, but SS seem to have this assumption - and as such we have to work with the system as it is, and work with SS. Making child safety plans, ...

Re: Update on iioc , now found cat a !!!

Tbh I wouldn't trust what your husband says - you've already said He's been downplaying everything. Do you have a contact number for the police in charge of the investigation? I would speak to them and ask for clarification. I also wouldn't change anything in terms of supervised access or hubby comi...

Re: Update on iioc , now found cat a !!!

So sorry that you find yourself in this situation, I've been there and it's awful. We have been told if he had been arrested on UK mainland that it probably wouldn't have been cu...

Re: Partner arrested for possession of IIOC

You're welcome :) Staying together is a possibility but I think as Suzie mentioned previously, a lot depends on what risk your partner is assessed at, and also your perceived ability to accept risks exist and how you look to manage those risks. As part of our risk management plan my partner does not...

Re: Partner arrested for possession of IOC

I did write a long reply, but somehow managed to lose it before posting :( but I will try and summarise. I had a 2yo and a 3 month old when my partner was arrested for downloading iioc. It was the beginning of a year and a half of hell. However we are now a year without SS involvement and my partner...
