Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

ange301126: The local authority are not following there own guidelines and time-scales. I have well and truly hit a brick wall with the local authority. The local authority does not keep my up-to date with things, as said before it is very rare that the local authority will respond to my emails and ...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

Murray72: Each time the children's social worker changes so does the local authority's end goal, middle of last year I was told by children services team manager why they don't see why I can't go back home with a slow and progressed reintroduction to the family home. All of the children was also tol...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

This week I have had a meeting with the current social worker, about contact as well as other things. During this meeting, I have now heard the threats first hand by the current social worker. If I was to return to the family home, or carry on a relationship with my wife the local authority would ta...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

I have not done any updates for a while now, as I have had other matters to to deal with. I am still waiting on the minutes or any documentation from the child protection conference held in November, but as per normal the local authority is not forthcoming. I am still having great problems in findin...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

I can say that any of the meetings I have had directly with children's services have not had anyone from the local authority's legal team, But as you know when it comes to the child protection conferences I have been refused to be in the room at the same time as my wife so I do not know for sure who...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

The only time the local authority (children's services) mentioned legal action is that if I was to return home and or have any unsupervised direct or indirect contact with any of the children. As far as I am aware they have not said anything about legal action other than this. But to answer your que...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

My view is that if the courts felt that the children were of the age and able to give evidence in court via live video-link, then surly the children are of age to be able to voice their own opinions. But we all know that children's services will twist and bend any rules and or regulations to there o...

Re: Removed from family home by Police & Children Services

Regarding the Section 39 Order this was indeed mentioned, and it was the judges view that the way the article was worded was not in breach of the Section 39 Order. I was not in the room with my wife or even in the same part of the court when she was forced to sign the Contact of Expectations. Only m...
