Unfortunately all though you have parental responsibility to a degree. They (carer/kinship) have the last say as they are your child's legal guardian. Bless you And yes honesty is always the best and if he did do it he would be better to own up and get the help for it. I will give you some hope. My partner owned up to his issues and has got the help 5 years ago he was high risk to his daughter (not mine) by a psychologist and high risk of reoffend...

So he will most likely be on bail for a while.
