URGENT help needed

My 5 children were placed under an ICO April 22. March 23 the LA changed the care plans to reunification of all 5 children to my care (3 children home May 29, 2 home July 24) all other parties supported this. The transition started and my contact went to supported (supervisor there at start and end)...

IRH adjourned AGAIN

We had our IRH today which was ideally also going to be the final hearing but once again the LA never filed the correct papers. They never filed a transition plan, NSPCC research evidence or their final summary so now no decisions have been made and it has now been adjourned until April!!!!! My chil...

Re: Ive messed up 😫

Hi Suzie, Thank you for taking the time to reply. My children will be returned to me as sole carer. The father of this baby will not be on the scene, he was a 1 night stand and I have no contact details for him. I had to do the DV group due to a previous partner who at the time we were together (yea...

Ive messed up 😫

My 5 children are currently in foster care under an ICO. We go to court for the IRH in 2 weeks time. The LA’s plan is for all 5 of my children to return home (agreed by all parties) and they have started the transition. They want child 1, 2 & 3 to return full time by May half term and then child...

Transitioning back home-meant to be family led

The LA have released their final statement and care plans. They are recommending all 5 children return home under a gradual transition. (3 oldest in May half term, 2 youngest in July half term) I haven’t agreed to this. I want all 5 at the same time but understand why they want to do 3 & 2 so I ...

1 step closer but still so far away

My 5 children were removed from my care back in April under an interim care order. Main concern from the LA was my mental health (depression) they said I was ‘emotionally unavailable’ to my children and that I showed them no love or affection. This has never been true but I understand from the LA po...

Re: LA delaying assessments on purpose!!!!

Still no confirmed date 😪

I contacted the IRO and she contacted the LA and gave them a kick up the butt. She said they need to start the assessment ASAP. She said to give it a week and if we still have no plan/start date to contact her again and she will chase it further
