Re: Honestly cant see the light
dear warthog, when you say that you have heard nothing about any professional's meeting, that reminded me that proceedings are still before the magistrates who will be considering whether or not to issue an interim care order. When one is issued , the case will then go to the County Court for a fin...

Re: FINAL STRAW
Hi you really need to put in a complaint, if contact is court ordered?, then your SW visiting every 2 weeks will be on the plan set by court, in which case she is breaching that, start a complaint as soon as possible, if people dont complain then CS/SW/SS get away with it unquestioned! The more who ...

Re: SEN
Hi Its well worth going through the complaints procedure, we are currently at stage 3, with a meeting due this Friday, in addition if the SW is not documenting and doing the job properly, you can report them to the GSCC which is SW governing body. SW do lie and twist things and claim parents agree w...

Re: has anyone got a child in family and friends care
Hi
If there is no court order in place you can legally go and get your child, however, childrens services may get an EPO and the child will either go to foster carers, childrens home or remain with grandparents.
Hope this helps
Good luck
Carla

Re: Complaining to CS
List your complaints and be factual, clear and concixe, in bullet points if necessary. They do lie and twist things, so try and make sure you have a good friend with you to take notes of what is said to you, times, dates etc. This is what I did and their poor documentation has let them down, I have ...

Re: Honestly cant see the light
Warthog, what you are going through is awful, however, dont give up the fight, that is what CS want you to do to make it easier for them, keep telling the truth and making accurate notes about their visits, phonecall etc times dates names. We tripped CS up as they had not documented a number of visi...

Re: Complaining to CS
Hi all Had good news yesterday, 14 of my 25 complaints have been upheld and CS have to formally apologise to me, whilst it doesnt change their errors, it proves that if you keep going, they cannot hide their incompetencies forever. I have now proceeded to complain to the GSCC about 6 social wrokers ...
