Re: Review Conference
Thanks Suzie, I need to find another job as I cannot manage on benefits (house, car etc to pay for and no savings, plus exH is using the situation to manipulate me by alternately spoiling the children with expensive presents and threatening to cut off support) but this has destroyed my confidence an...

Re: Review Conference
Thanks Suzie, the report simply stated that they felt a "further period of registration would be beneficial" to allow sustained change and ensure that I did not reunite with my husband and completed my work on freedom programme etc. There is no real evidence of continued risk, I have done all they h...

She is gi...

Has anyone successfully complained?
I was bullied out of making a stage 1 complaint (and the case was subsequently and very coincidentally escalated to Child Protection) and as such I am too afraid to make another complaint at the moment in case it it used against me. The local authority have shown a shocking lack of professionalism t...

Re: 1 day S47 enquiry?
The same thing happened to me. We'd been "team around the family"/support and advice (reason being domestic violence and resultant "emotional abuse") for months. I was getting little actual support and getting a bit tired and disillusioned with the process. Next thing I know I get a phone call to sa...
