Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Hello everyone, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to give you an update, things are better, to say the least! After being passed from pillar to post we ended up with our final social worker, she was lovely and looked into everything properly, spoke to the police and things after it was discovered the ...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

The only part I'm unsure of, is she asked what we could both do to minimize the risk (me and partner) I said well baby is 5 months old and I'm always around, she said "well you have to sleep, you can't supervise 24 hours" so what is it that I'm supposed to do to reduce the risk? And how is my partne...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Thank you for the reply, DesperateDad, I am hoping this is all over with soon, it's harder and harder as the weeks and months drag on. I have now met with our new social worker who seemed to have a really positive attitude, I went through the original written report with her and pointed out all of t...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Thank you for the reply! As it happens I got a bit of an update yesterday, I met with a new, albeit temporary social worker as ours had left weeks ago without letting us know. I do feel much more relaxed speaking to her and she seems to have a much more positive attitude, but I've been told the case...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Thank you so much for the reply, I will definitely have a read through the information you have linked there. I don't feel comfortable questioning about timescales or anything as whenever I ask a question it seems to be ignored and I simply get told "This will be a long process" which again is worry...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Thank you for the reply nonetheless! Just don't understand how something so seemingly insignificant that happened so long ago can have this much impact, I feel like I finally have the perfect wonderful little family that I've dreamed of since I was a little girl myself and i cant bare to see all of ...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

A further update Social worker has spoken to my partner for the first time today since all of this started. I was not present. Partner was told by social worker that they believe he is "hiding something" as he couldn't remember early details of the accusation, and is now having him get a psychologic...

Re: Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Update- I've just had a phone call from SW to say he will be popping round to see us at my mum's tomorrow, he asked how the last few days had been, I wasn't sure how to answer as honestly the whole thing is killing me, I feel like regardless if how I answer it won't be favourable, if I say it's been...

Any advice welcome, lost and confused!

Hey all. This is my first post, I'm not sure where to even start so I'll try with the beginning and hope this makes some sort of sense! My partner is 29, at around the age of 23 - before I knew him - my partner was accused of possessing and manufacturing IIOC, however he was never charged, as there ...
