Core Assessments??
Hello Everyone, Please can someone help me. I have been informed that Core Assessments are not done anymore in the County of Flintshire. Is this right? Also, is a childs 'buddy' from Social Services allowed to speak to a child and ask the parent to leave the room, I thought it was only a social work...

Re: LAC Reviews
Hi, Well done for getting an apology. It is so hard emotionaly to write a letter of complaint about the people that you are involved with and that are involoved with your child. How many people wouldn't complain, about 90% of them wouldnt complain. These people are abusing their given authority, the...

Re: unexpected visits from ss and police
Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I have 10yrs experience of SS, how they work, what they do etc etc, all because I initially asked for help with my disabled son, they found out I had bipolar and BPD, say no more!!!! In all those years, which I will add were the worst 10yrs of my ...

Re: LAC Reviews
Hi Fishwillow, Reading your post has made me cringe. I have a disabled son now 12 yrs old, I asked for help from SS when he was 2 yrs old, it has been a 10 yr fight for me with SS, to try and access services my son needed, the only thing that happened was my children being placed on the 'at risk' re...

Re: C47 investigation and protection conference
Thats amazing, you were helped by SS wiith that type of security. My son was 6yrs old, he would wander off 2 or 3 times a day, I tried everything to keep him in, door and window locks and alarms, he took them off. He would dart around tthe place and as soon as the door was open, he darted. Managed t...

Re: Can you trust Childrens Services
Hi, Thank you for your replies. I have had a 10yr fight with CS, caught them out on everything, I have even recorded an interview they had with my son when a CSA stated that my son had said I threw him downstairs. My son on the tape kept saying, 'my mummy would not hurt me', the SW then told him he ...

It wasn't....
