I do hope I can get this sorted out in time. My daughter has a son of 8 yrs, and i have had him living with me for the past 5yrs, i have a residency order. Now she is expecting again and due next wk, the ss said they were there for the baby, not for her. I was asked if i would look after this baby as well, and i said no, the boyfriend, ( not sure if he is the father ) and has alcohol issues, says he and his mum are going to look after the baby if it's his, ss agreed this. My daughter wants the baby put up for adoption.Now a new ss officer has been given the case load as the last ss worker broke confidentiality...complicated to say the least.....my daughter has just been told to get legal advice, but it's a bit late in the day, can someone please help
