family group conference

Hello has anyone had any experience of attending a family group conference would really appreciate any guidance or advice on what is involved.as we have just received a letter saying that one is to be arranged if the children's parents agree haven't a clue what to expect ?

generally people find Family Group Conferences to be useful. If done properly it empowers the wider family to make the decisions about the children. Any plan may need to be 'challenged' to ensure that it's been thought through and is sustainable.

Probably best to read through the advice sheet and post back with specific questions.

First off,congratulations on being offered something that our Family were not offered by the extremists in our Case
