the foster team in my area was brilliant. as i was going for the SGO they rushed through payment for a bed, also sorted stair gates and car seats for me. they also run a monthly meeting for all kinship carers which i can still attend. im sure others on here that have been carers for longer than me will be on here with lots more info. but i have given you what i got hope that helps

If you mean safety equipment such as stair gates then yes, there should be no reason why they cant provide you with stuff like that or give you a payment so you can go buy them.

And Respite is something else that they can give you if you feel you need it occasionally.
