sgo, final hearing.

Post by jenmarie » Wed Nov 03, 2010 6:56 am

Back in court today for the final hearing. I think I must be away with the fairies if I believe that. No medicals have been done, finance assessment forms been lost. No support package. I'm sitting here as usual on the day of court with my head all over the place and my stomach upside down. Oh well, never mind, who am I in all of this anyway. Not got much to say really, just needed to say something. Maybe today we'll get our miracle. Lol.

Love and hugs. xx

Miracles do happen and I got mine today. I got my sgo and a section 91(14) for 5 years. A judgement was made as to why this was attatched as there have been no applications to the court so far and it's unusual for it to be attatched to an sgo from the start. I almost forgot I also got funding,

Well done. Brilliant news.

Absolutely fascinating to know why they made the section 91 order. perhaps the judge has been reading this forum! [;)][8D]

A section 91(14) order prevents the parents from making an application to court to vary the order without the leave of the court. It's usually only used when there have been numerous applications and its potentially disrupting the placement.

Hi babylove.
We have been trying to get this order since last May 09. We had a lot of hassle from ss though. If you want to contact me privately I can give you more information. Section 91(14) is an order that prohibits the parents from taking me to court and thank god mine is for 5 years. Apparently it's not usually attatched to the sgo, but the judge was of the opinion that we should have as much protection as she could give us.Hope this helps. If you do want any info please don't hesitate to contact me. xxxxxxxx
