37 years ago today I was celebrating my 2nd birthday, sadly my first in foster care, having been through the care system myself. But rather more special today my lovely nephew gave me my card and said "you are the bet mummy in the wide world whole and I think I going to keep you forever". not bad for a ickle boy who 18 months ago didnt know what birthday was or for that matter even be able to say that sentence. It made my birthday.

You've heard of them?

---------

You bet :) What a great summer job - how could you not be starstruck?

Denholm Elliott was one of my favourite actors - I was desolate when he died.

Mel Martin we both liked. Early in our marriage we watched her in Love for Lydia (HE Bates) Our old black and white TV was so grainy I can't believe we bothered, but I was even glued to Wimbledon on it (aye, them were t'days. LOL)

Ian Charleson - Chariots of Fire, sadly died far too young (like Denholm Elliott, lost to AIDS)

Roy Hudd has found a new audience by being on Coronation Street on and off in the last few years.

Feeling my age after reading that mumof3 and Help were mere babies 37 years ago [xx(]
