hi all just to let you know we have another appointment with solicitor on thursday to fill in means test papers , then we can apply to proceedings and ask judge for an independant assessment . hopefully all goes well

just to let you all know seen solicitor we have filled in legal aid papers , he is going to apply for party to proceedings ,he said we might have to attend court on the 30th this month, also applying to judge for independant assessment , any tips on what to say and what not to say to her ? so fingers crossed x moving along with things now ,thanx for all replying and reading xxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi all just to update , we was granted to become party , so all well, we have had hair tests ,all well ,the childrens guardian was in support of us being properly assessed by an independant assessor , we had part of the assessment yesterday , all went well , she met our kids , just wants to see us with the nieces children now , the hearing was ajourned till the directions hearing again 12th october , then gotta wait n c , given treferences ,so feel a lot better now , will keep u all posted thanx for all your support xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxour assessment gotta b put forward by 17th september

hi all thanx for the comments ,yes thing are moving forward now , assessor phoned us today we have to meet her with the children for an hours assessment on the 7th , dnt know what we have to do , just be ourselves i think , then part 2 over ,she just has to check out our references then , fingers crossed ,all goes well xx will keep you all informed . xxxxxxxxxxx

hi all just to let you know we have had the assessment , we have got a positive assessment now from the independant assessor , we have met with the children now and we have been advised to go for special guardianship ? any ideas on what this is please and have been told we need means testing now for an allowance , still gotta go court in october , but hey things are looking up now , but we have been told that she might not lose the children now , just got to see what the guardian has to say now xxxxxxxx will keep you all posted xxxxxxxxx

Well done nett for hanging in there, so glad you got a positive assessment from the independent assessor [:)] No experience of SGO myself but many others will be able to advise. I hope everything works out.
