My niece has has her child taken into care and the sw is looking at a permanent placement within the family under foster care, special guardianship, or adoption. Can anyone advise what the position is regarding the child's parents having contact after the court proceedings determining the outcome with regard to all three of the above options.

The child was removed due to emotional abuse with regard to witnessing domestic violence. The query regards any of us in the family becoming the primary carer as it is still open to change at present thanks
