Post by nannydunn » Sun Nov 08, 2015 9:21 pm

Hi
i WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT I HAVE GAINED FROM THIS FORUM AND TO ASK ANYONE FIGHTING FOR THEIR GRANDCHILDREN DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE KEEP FIGHTING WE WERE TOLD WE HAD PRACICALLY NO HOPE OF EVER GETTING OUR GRANCHILDREN AFTER THEY WERE REMOVED FROM OUR CARE IN MARCH 2014 WE HAD CONTACT THAT WAS VERY HIT AND MISS AND WAS STOPED ON A WHIM FROM THEIR PARENTS W WENT 11 MONTHS WITH OUT SEEING OUR GRANDSON AND SAW OUR GRANDAUGHTER A HANDFUL OF TIMES IN A CONTACT CENTER WE DECIDED THAT WE COULD NOT LET THEN GO UP FOR ADOPTION WITH OUT A FIGHT
THE FIRST TIME WE WENT TO COURT WE WER TOLD BY OUR BARISTER THAT THERE WAS NOT A LOT OF HOPE IT WAS LIKE PUSHING WATER UP STREAM. IT GOT AJOURNED NEXT TIME A DIFFERENT BARISTER READ OUR INDEPENDENT COMPLAINT REPORT AND SAKED TO HAVE IT INCLUDED IN THE COURT BUNDLE WE THEN GOT PERMISSION FOR A INDEPENDENT S,W REPORT(WE FAILED AN FOSTERING ASSESMENT FROM THE L/A) ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IF WE FAILED WE COULD GO NO FUTHER. THIRD TIME OUR BARISTER A FIESTY YOUNG LADY WAS GOING IN FIGHTING WE HAD A POSITIVE REPORT FROM THE I.S.W AND THE CHILDRENS FATHER WAS NOW SAYING HE WANTED THEM TO COME TO US 30 MINS LATER THEIR MOTHER AGREEED AND THE GARDIAN WAS LOOKING PROMISING SHE WANTED THE L.A FOSTERING S.W CROSS EXAMINED BEFORE MAKING A FINAL DESISION WENT IN TO COURT
S.W ASKED IF SHE HAD READ COPLAINTS REPORT AND I.S.W.REPORT
SHE REPLIED SHE HAD GLANCED AT THEM THE JUDGE TOLD HER TO GO AWAY OVER LUCH AND READ THEM BACK IN COURT AFTER LUNCH ALL CHANGE ON S.W VIEW AND WE WERE GIVE OUR GRANDCHILDREN ON A CHID ARRANGMENT ORDER WITH 12 MONTHS SUPERVISION FROM S.S
THINGS MOVED REALLY QUICKLY FROM THEN AND WITHIN TWO WEEKS THEY MOVED IN WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A VERY DIFFERENT CHRISTMAS THAN LAST YEAR WHEN WE COULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM A PRESENT SO PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP HOPE AND KEEP FIGHTING IT CAN TURNOUT FOR THE BEST THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE SUPPORT OU ALL GAVE ME ATMY LOWEST TIMES ITS BEEN A LONG TWO YEARS BUT WE CAN NOW LOOK FORWARD.XX

Dear nannydunn

Thank you so much for your very positive post regarding the outcome of your case.

Congratulations, that your grandchildren are home with you now.

I am sure your post will give hope to others who find themselves in a similar situation.

Best wishes
