Urgent - legal aid changes - cases needed

Family Rights Group on behalf of the Kinship Care Alliance is urgently lobbying Parliament to prevent a change in the law which will mean that family & friends carers will not be able to apply for legal aid a) when applying for a residence/special guardianship order or b) defending against a parent wanting the residence or special guardianship order revoked c) or dealing with a contact order application in court - if 12 months has gone by since i. the child was on a child protection plan or ii. there had been a finding of fact of child abuse iii. criminal proceedings for child abuse.
