Your views wanted to influence social work training on permanence

Post by Forum Administrator » Mon Feb 20, 2017 7:37 pm

Family Rights Group is part of a partnership led by Mott MacDonald that has won a contract from the Department for Education to design a Continuous Professional Development programme on permanence for social workers. Permanence encompasses a child permanently returning home from care, being raised by a family and friends carer, under a special guardianship order, in a long term foster placement or being adopted.

We are keen to ensure the views and experiences of family and friends carers are included in the design of the Department for Education's new CPD programme for social workers on permanence. The link takes you to a page with a link to the survey. This short survey will capture your initial opinions and will inform the design of the programme. Please give you views.
