Thanks once again, Irene! The case should have been over a few months ago. It was extended so that I could be assess. The judge apparently considered it very important to assess me, even at the very last minute! The BM is contesting all the way but , I have been told by the SW and the court report! that no professional is recommending the little girl returns to the BM, so it seems like it is rather futile to contest - but I understand why the BM would! I hope for this little girl that it doesn't take too long!! she is happy where she is but can't stay there long term so it would be best to get it sorted sooner rather than later. She has been in care since last Feb so the case has overrun the 26 week time frame quite a lot!
