Hi nannydunn.

The best source of factual information is to be found at the following advice sheet. http://frg.org.uk/images/Advice_Sheets/ ... erence.pdf

generally people find Family Group Conferences to be useful. If done properly it empowers the wider family to make the decisions about the children. Any plan may need to be 'challenged' to ensure that it's been thought through and is sustainable.

Probably best to read through the advice sheet and post back with specific questions.

Best wishes ..... Robin
