Hello,
Just wondering whether anyone had had the surname changed for their little ones at the same time as the SGO? I have been thinking about it for a while. Obviously it would not necessarily be appropriate for an older child, but a small child who does not yet know its name?
Just wondered everyone's opinions.
Thanks,
Surname change

Re: Surname change
I am also wondering this..
myself and my husband have an SGO for our great nephew (granted on 3rd sept 2013) we would like to change his surname to ours, so when he starts school he has the surname that we all have, I am more than happy to keep his mothers surname also, so it would be a double barrel surname, how do I go about changing it?, do I need a solicitor?, do I need to contact the mother (she is very elusive, and ignores my texts also)
any advice would be very much appreciated
